Three Awesome Daddies

For Father's Day 2011, let me highlight a moment of three awesome daddies (from the year 2010).

Daddy Tim is SUCH a good daddy cause he was willing to get in 60 degree (?) water in this backyard swimming pool because Trent wanted to go swimming at Grandpa and Nana's THAT bad.

You see, MY Daddy has always been up for a quick "in-n-out" dive into freezing water (I remember Jenny Lake in Yosemite, Hole in the Rock in Lake Powell, backyard pool jumps, any body of water. MY Daddy can't resist and he usually talks the rest of us into following just to prove our brawniness. Freezing!) . It was always a sort of challenge we had growing up. Dad would put the pool out in the morning, let the water lay in the sun and give nature's sun a change to warm up our pool. Sometimes it worked…a little. And if it's hot enough outside, it really IS "refreshing"! BUT, this day the water did not heat up at all. I was worried about hypothermia. But Trent was detERmined. And MY Daddy, in keeping with tradition, was going to get in that pool NO MATTER WHAT! He went to the work to put the pool out and he was darn well gonna be usin' it! So here he is for his infamous shallow pool dive. Seen it a million times. Impressed every time. And even when it's hypothermia temperature, he still says, "Re-FRESHING!!!!!"

In and RIGHT BACK OUT!

Daddy Curt (who has a little baby girl in his wife's belly) will NOT let the fun go on without him. Dance a dance a dance.

Then jump the water off on the trampoline.

Grandpa goes in for a second "refreshing" dip.

And now Curt for a "My Daddy's infamous dive."

Which then turned into a non-dive "hop and dip".

And RIGHT BACK OUT!

Guess who got talked into the infamous dive? Daddy TIM!

And RIGHT BACK OUT!

But proud as can be!

And then payday. Isn't this the sweetest!?! They're warm now!

Three daddies.
