Hadley turned 2!

Hadley Bear turned two yesterday! It is astounding to me to look at these pictures and wonder how I was chosen to be her mama.

Daddy made Hadley Bear Mickey and Minnie Mouse pancakes. Hello amazing Dad!
Then, of course, I wanted to play dress up with her before we opened her present. So she picked out her dress up clothes.
Complete with high heels, tutu, and crown.
It was very entertaining to see her try to walk in the shoes.
Her favorite things on earth: shoes.
Trent couldn't be kept from the fun, so he dressed up too.
She had a sad moment when she didn't want me to take her picture anymore...
As she was opening her present, she kept saying, "Beauty and the Beast, guys! Beauty and the Beast!"
It's a princess castle, complete with tunnel!

When family came over to celebrate with her, she had no problem being the center of attention.
"Rosie!" (Rosie, the train, whom I am assuming would have red hair since she has freckles. Sweet Hadley gets girl trains and girl cars for her birthday. :))
Here she is getting more train track for Trent's train track set. She actually likes setting up the track so we got away with it.
Here she got Holly Shiftwell and Acer to play cars with Trent. Now she has a car, but in reality, she is ALL GIRL. I just thought it would be a good way to get Trent to share with her if she shares with him. ;)
Tinkerbell Jammas.
And I couldn't help but give Trent a gift too. It's rough having the little sister get so much attention all day.
Finn McMissile and Tomber.
Then for Hadley's very special gift, we gave her her own boombox with Princess and Disney CDs. She is a living musical. Yesterday during Sacrament even, we heard her singing to herself, "Happy Birthday to Hadley! Happy Birthday to Hadley!"
We danced and danced and danced.
She even knows some of the buttons to push already.
She was stinkin happy.
She got two new pairs of shoes! Her favorite things!
And a mermaid cake. Of course! The red-headed girl loves the red-headed princess!

Happy Birthday sweet Hadley.
