Our little princess turned one, and we had a little party. As family arrived we gave them a quiz about Hadley. That was super fun. Then Tim had made a big time official movie of Hadley's first year and we watched that. It was awesome. Here's a picture of Hadley pointing to herself on the TV. Yes! It's a movie about YOU Haddles.
Hadley was delicate and sweet as she first tested the cake before she dove in.
So glad I took a pic of some decorations. (Forgot to at Trent's 1st Birthday.)
A fuzzy Elmo Birthday card.
Even though the party was Hadley's, it was definitely a highlight of the party when Trent opened his present from Grandpa and Nana Calder (They couldn't resist getting Trent a present since "He's only 2." Grandparents are the best.
He was the most expressive gift opener I have EVER seen. Wish we had a video of it.
Funny how the mom gets to open all the presents for a 1 year old, sort of like it's her birthday.
Trent gave Hadley cooking utinsels since she's either studying to be a chef or a dentist. She currently hones her skills on both professions. Nana and Papa gave her a big Little People house, which she loves, and we gave her a doll. Of course we gave her a doll.
