Swimming Floaties and Raisin Toes

As Trent's Uncle Curt put it, Trent is seen here saying, "Did you take the picture already. I am way too cool for these pictures."

Tim, Trent, and I went on a Memorial Day vacation to St. George with Tim's family this year. We were so excited to golf, shop, eat breakfast at Bear Paw, and just have fun hanging out together. I was MOST excited to take our little one swimmin' for the first time! We really maybe went overboard on the swimming gear purchases. We had two different kinds of floaties, two kinds of baby sunglasses, the swimmin' suit, Finding Nemo swim diapers, baby No Tear sunblock, and the sunhat. (Thanks Aunt Linda and Aunt Connie for contributing!) Best part about it, Trent was like, "Whatever Mom and Dad." The whole 'First Swim' experience was one of the most hillarious experiences in my life. This little dude cracks me up ALL DAY. Nothin' could be better.

Swimming Floaties, Raisin Toes, and St. George Memories

Dang he's adorable!
(We reserve the right to declare this as his parents.)

Sleepy sleepy.

Sleeping babies are undeniably adorable!

Trent's first swimming lesson with mommy.
What a good daddy!!
Candice's hot men.
Why does he think he's a movie star? (Would it be because we take photos of him ALL DAY LONG?)

Do we still feel like newlyweds? (Candice votes YES.)
One of Trent's favorite things is taking a bath. Even better in a huge swimming pool.Baby Raisin Toes.

Still thinking he's a movie star.

Fun with daddy.

Trent has his own sweet shades. (Movie star pose #3.)

A Love Remembered

The 5th Avenue Candy Bar...Isn't it the best? Today I broke out this childhood favorite for the first time in probably ten years. Why haven't I been enjoying this choclate-peanut buttery-crunchity-love all along? So I say, go out today and remember a childhood love. It will make the child within soar!

Disclaimer: No product placement here! No compensation was received by Timothy and Candice for mentioning the 5th Avenue Candy Bar in this post. Our love for 5th Avenue, and our desire for you, our friends, to find crunchity joy, exceeds the necessity for compensation.

Something to Blog About

Like many of you, my full-time occupation is being a mother. So most often, my "something to blog about" will be my child.

Today I am wondering if his hands are going to be raisins for life since they can never be anywhere but in his mouth...unless he is doing his favorite thing, Jumparoo-ing!! LOVE the jumper.
